The 24th of February 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine. By the end of April Maxim went to Ukraine all by himself, to document the effects of War and show the world what was happening. He befriended local youngsters from Kyiv and met Italian Journalist Claudio Locatelli and joined him on a mission to Kharkiv, at that time one of the most bombed cities of Ukraine.
